The Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Branch is part of a province-wide network of over 50 Ontario SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) Communities. The Ontario SPCA is a non-profit charitable organization.
Our Branch operates an animal shelter and adoption centre in Orangeville, Ontario. We conduct investigations into complaints of animal cruelty and neglect throughout the Branch territory, which encompasses most of Dufferin County, including the Towns of Orangeville, Mono, and Townships of Amaranth, East Luther and Melancthon. We also provide animal protection services to the Towns of Erin, Hillsburgh, Georgetown, Acton, Glen Williams, Rockwood, Halton Hills and the Township of East Garafraxa.
Last year hundreds of animals were adopted from the Orangeville & District Branch Adoption Centre including cats and dogs of all ages, shapes, sizes and breeds, as well as birds, rabbits, guinea pigs and more!
We invite you to drop by the Adoption Centre during adoption hours to visit the animals, or browse our site and view our adoptable animals online.
